Learn more about Kirsten on her website: Kiss of Yoga
Kirsten's yoga classes are open to all regardless of your experience with yoga. These classes are a lovely way to close out your weekend and begin a new week feeling refreshed and grounded. Classes alternate between Yin and Gentle Flow.
Yin Yoga: is a type of meditative practice utilizing passive, floor-based postures to relax the connective tissues and promote the regulation of energy flow within the body. Postures are traditionally held for a longer period of time and utilization of props is strongly encouraged to provide a unique and restorative experience.
Gentle Flow Yoga: Yoga comes from the root word “yuj,” meaning “to unite.” This gentle class is soothing and nurturing to invite practitioners to ground in their energy and mindfully deepen their breath to create a sense of unity in the mind/body connection. Movements in this class will focus on traditional poses that calmly shift the energy of the body in a way that is easeful and comfortable. Use of props is strongly encouraged. This class is appropriate for all levels of practitioner and can be very supportive for anyone preferring a softer approach to yoga asana. Class will conclude with a supportive meditation to listen to your body, release tension, and cultivate a deep sense of calm and inner peace.
Kick off each month with intention, movement, and mindfulness at First Friday Yoga. On the first Friday of every month, we gather to reconnect with our bodies, calm our minds, and set positive intentions for the weeks ahead. This gentle hatha flow practice blends mindful, accessible postures into a slow, supportive flow paired with breathwork and meditation. You’ll have space to move with ease, listen inward, and reset, leaving you feeling grounded, softly energized, and aligned for the month ahead. All levels are welcome. Come exactly as you are and make space for yourself at the start of each month.
